So I'm walkin up the street this evening, a steet light 100 yards ahead fires a shadow of a wispy young maple infront of me . I detect a shutter in the shadow and recognize it as a spaztic leaf harassed by the wind. A perfect ring of smoke crawls from my lips as they change color, they feel a new shade of grey. The ring expands and rises, then drifts over the leaf and constricts around the stem of the leaf causing it to break from the branch. I walk past the falling leaf and wait to hear the crash and then scrape along the pavement.
