Oh YEAH, back at school today. 10/10 for an assignment, barely scraped a pass for a test. P's get degrees though, as my lovely assistant and housemate likes to say.

Jesus, what a day. Fourteen hours of tutorials, work, and my Dad on the phone advising me to "...think with your brain, son, not your dick." Thanks, daddy-o...although if I'd been thinking with my dick up to this point I'm sure it would have fallen off six months ago. Selah.

I've got a hunger for movies from that strange time period around the time I was born...Videodrome...Scanners...Cherry 2000...Blade Runner...yeah. Gritty semi sci-fi stuff. Cronenberg (Cronenburg? Boig? Fuck it.). Lynch...I've never seen Twin Peaks and I'll have a couple of weeks to spare over Christmas. Just me and the Log Lady.

Two weeks left working at the gaping abyss of a business that is (was) my old job. Every time I go there it's like Hell's waiting room...flickering neon and stale coffee...air conditioning wafting faint nicotine...crunching gravel outside the window...bad vibes. Once I thought something horrific was hovering behind my shoulder, waiting to scare me insane. Yes yes yessir, I'm happy to be leaving.

Had a delightfully late breakfast with Blacklamb yesterday. Good to see her, as always. Went home and played absolutely no bass at all. Unsurprisingly, it sounded worse that way.
