The holidays are going great. Having only a short time in town is actually quite a good thing as i'm kept super busy running from one engagement to the next. Although my liver may not be happy with me, I can take a holiday from my vacation when I get back.

For some reason I always seem to be curious when people complain about the cold. Not to say that I don't bitterly despise it with a hatred unknown to most. Today wasn't too bad out, or so I thought, mind you it was -30C outside, somehow my body has adjusted to this being ok. This also makes me want to relocate back to warmer climes...

SO tonight on the cbc I heard the term "odyssean" and one of the aspects was of one who constantly journeys however never satisfied with ones station so the journey must continue. Never more have I heard a word that so succinctly described my state of mind. beauty.

desert heat is amazing. im in palm springs right now and just love dry heat. plus its much better than snow any day of the week.
