It is within relationships we gain a greater understanding of ourselves. It is within our friendships that we learn to shine. My years of quietly practicing monologues, jokes, and physical comedy lend little strength to the overall achievements I have accomplished 'working' with friends - these friends that I have stood with now for nearly half my life.

And while we marry off another of merry band of idiotic intellects, outgoing introverts, charming brutes, Braindead. It is my hope that we stand to gain another to aid us in our reveling of life.

In celebration of one of our motley crew "gon' git 'imself hitched", we met last weekend in the mountains of Santa Cruz to laugh, cook, drink, smoke and shoot.

The trivial details of the adventure are ones for later examination. I simply want to summarize that in those moments, arm-in-arm, we drank deep of each other and raised our glasses up for more.
