Birthday Girl

People hold their breath
when she moves.
It's an exact science,
watching her.

Sometimes she breaks free
of gravity.
She's more special
than moonlight.

Some love her
because she's gorgeous,
some love her because she's smart,
a few
love her because she's funny.

I love her because
it's her birthday
and it just feels right.

Tonight, just like every night

I come home
to sad songs and
television
stiggy56:
I guess I would have to say yes to the crew thing. I have a lot of people around me now, and I'm not used to it. I started my buisness, Flat World Productions, and began making things for my own entertainment. But that was selfish I guess, so I let my friends push me into building the website and the rest I hope will be history!

The first episode of Monster Genocide is done! I'll have it up on the site hopfully by monday! I'm so proud of how it came out. It's classic radio cheese with a touch of the contemerary. The spirit of old time radio is all through it and I feel like Orsen Well's now. Bringing that mans legacy back from the dead is going to take some work.

And I come home to the computer anymore. I understand the sad song but I try not to sing it. biggrin

Have a good weekend!

Jazz (John Coltrane)

the way he led the music
it loved to go with him
he could issue a heartache
at the tip of his hat
his turmoil becoming precision
emotions, with a saxophone in hand
a slow roll issuing
from his stomach
and blowing off his hat

if only my heart could
beat
as clear and deep as his eyes
when he played
leading...

The unfair practice of
catching foul balls.

Once I hit a pop fly into the left field stands, funny thing. About stars, they look just like dreams and there are so many. It's hard to judge, whether to jump three rows, or to sit tight.

Sometimes I'm too short :to see the fireworks :but I see the fire. It has a sound. Whistling and clapping....

Denny America

Hes a Fear Factor alumni
ate a ferrets testicles
with a heavy white sauce
I sat in the smoking section
watching him
brag to a 6-foot blonde, with outstanding eyebrows,
Stop it
she whined, playing

The waitress jumped up
with a butchers knife
screamed
American Scum
and collapsed, under the reality

The waitress was easily replaced
new customers came in
they ordered the...

it was unfortunate, when it happened to me

The woman was fragile
a slip of a person,
maybe just a passing thought.
She was struck down immediately
as she tried to say hello

She lay there, illuminated,
like Injimanja
sitting on the daylight.

All he wanted
was to leave.
But the warrior faught

Maybe the warrior was
graceful, or
insane
Doubtless,
he was brave

He...

don't talk to me that way

You love not
I but another

Though I can hurt you
Ten times more
Than he ever could
Break you
Leave you
Naked
Crying on the staircase
Scattered into a million
Little...

For Christ's sake
His entire
Hopeless love does not
Equal the hate
I feel
On the dried
Flaky skin of another
Night alone.

A dogs life

When visiting my brother
I lay around
not visiting so much
as awaiting

I join the day (and the dog) on the couch
skinny, hairy, panting
waiting for someone to amuse

me, Im the same
I like walks

right away, asap, rsvp and other such statements indicating hurriness. any format is fine, cut and paste in an email window or MS Word or WordPerfect or random formats that will make me break things in frustration. as for style, content, whatever you want, the field is wide open.

Mom

it was like a bad trip
I was falling all over with
Broken Elbows and Twisted
Eyeballs
the shopping malls were killing me
and the mom and pop stores were all closed
I wanted to close myself
Mothers Day was crushing me
I tried to avoid it
but I couldnt
She didnt deserve it
but she got it
A five dollar bill, crumpled, at...

Charlie Hunter

The quintet was a trio
guitars were broadcast over short-wave radio- while little plastic men
smiled
as if they were responsible
I was perched on an amplifier
my ears ringing from the girl in front of me
her neck was gorgeous
and she used her hips to
deceive
Then Pope, when he showed up, it was all over
Jazz is the devils music...
