Some days I give up on humanity. Other days I fight against it. Today I facebook made me want to just give up on them all together, unplug, and disconnect. Then I took a deep breath, and realized it was everyone's first amendment right to have their own opinion. And just because I don't argue with every person I don't agree with, that doesn't mean they win, and that they are right.
I can't fix people's perceptions, hell mine probably isn't the right one. But I don't need to sway people from their beliefs to my own. I have found that tonight I am content to let facebook be and angry faceless mob. They can rattle their pitchforks, shake their torches. But when they get up from the computer then I will worry about them, and not before that.

And I am proud to be a geek. I have been since days of 80's and 90's yore, when to be so was much more a chore.
