I don't tend to believe in religion, or cosmic balance, or karma (except in an abstract sense, that the world owes me something).
But in the course of 4 hours on Monday:
My Mom's cancer surgery revealed in was much worse then they thought.
I had the job interview of my dreams.

First off my Mom is okay, it's stage III but they said they caught it in time.
Now if my interview goes well I already feel guilty that something good happens on a day of something bad.
I know the two aren't related, I do know that but that doesn't help me keep my mind clear and at peace.
*sigh* I had typed this up much nicer and prettier last night and my computer locked up.
Some days I wish I had a external source or blame, or plead with.

Im sorry to hear that about your mom...you deserve good things, its okay to be happy during a difficult time in someones life. Im sure it will cheer your mom up to know her son is finding happiness in his life.
