Okay I am designing my next tattoo, and I need help. I am trying to get a sense for what looks better.


Large Symbols


Smaller Symbols

I think I like the smaller versions of the symbols, as suggested by techpirate8. But I am just looking for peoples input on of the over all design. Speaking of the over all design, allow me to add some text.


Complete concept.

Meaning: The Yin Yang is a opposite yet complimentary forces, ideas, etc... The red spiral eye is The Eye of the Crimson King, from Stephen King's "The Dark Tower" if you have not read the book you should. It is the symbol of the protagonist, which would be chaos/evil, and the black flower on the white side is the symbol of "The Eld", which in their world their ancient hero is Arthur Eld (Who is analogous to King Arthur), who is a symbol of goodness and order.

The words that wrap around the symbols are the opening line of the book.

So what I have done is pieced together what best defines balance in my mind, using the symbols of my heritage (Chinese), and my favorite story (The Dark Tower).
