Okay I don't usually post about news. I usually stay away from politics. But this news stuff is gonna drive me nuts.
<Soap Box>
Okay so what t boils down to is 6 black kids beat up a white kid.
(Where they provoked? It's doesn't matter. There is nothing that can said that justifies the attack of another person.)
Hell when I went to High School I was PHYSICALLY ATTACK probably on average 2-3 times a week for the years of 7th Grade to 12th Grade. If you looked at the years of 7th Grade through 10th it was probably closer to 3-4 days a week. My life was a living hell in High School because of people like this kids. And if you had arrested the kids that attacked me becasue I was different (geeky, skinny, anti-social etc) Would that have been a hate crime? No it would have been self-fucking-preservation. I can tell you I was hurt by both black and white students.
So what is my point?
1) It's not okay to attack any one physically.
2) For a group of people to attack another person and repeatedly kick him while he was on the ground. If you are surrounded one person on the ground with six other people who are kicking him. What do you think their intentions were? I am gonna kick him until he's healthy? No they were fucking trying to hurt him. Six on One. And it is enough of an over kill, that six people could cause enough damage and kick someone to death.
3ish) (Not that it matters but it is quoted as beinga premeditated act, if it is then I saw lock these kids up, no if ands or buts, even if it isn't an attack of six on one is looking for blood.)
"Schools superintendent Ray Bleithaupt stated that the attack was no ordinary schoolyard fight. "It was a premeditated ambush and attack by six students against one," Bleithaupt said. "The victim attacked was beaten and kicked into a state of bloody unconsciousness." "( Doug Simpson. "DA won't challenge 'Jena 6' ruling", Associated Press)
So that is my take on all this as one person who has bullied and beaten on his way through high school. I never came in with a gun and shot people, I never blew up the school. I just kept my head down and made my way through and graduated. And if I took it into my head to get six people together and attack one of the guys who attacked me, I would have gotten myself arrested.
So in closing, if you break the law you better be prepared to accept the consequences.
