Well when I think it can't get any worse.
My guy who I fired had had his car towed back to SF today. I went to check out his car and it's trashed. The inside of the car was ruined. It was stained and covered in grey stuff, the interior was beige now it's grey and black. This car used to be in great shape, it was the company's owner's old car. But the side was crushd in an accident and they re-welded the frame, and fixed the door, but the frame still looked bent, and they didn't use automotive paint, it's some sort of textured paint. It looked bad. He had loaded the trunk with way too much stuff and it was weighing down the back end of the car to the point where a Buick Lasabre looked like a low rider.
The oil had not been changed in 50,000 miles, and the coolant in the system was consistency of mud.
And on top of all this he didn't return his cellphone like he was supposed to. So I had to call Verizon and switch it to a different phone I had to give to his replacement. I cleaned out the voicemail and this is where it got interesting. Messages like:
"I am at the place meet me here."
"Do you have the stuff? It's me dog."
"Hey it me you wouldn't happen to have anything would you?
"Yo it's me don't be there before 5, and bring the stuff with you"
"You got a tab for me?"
And then there was the long rambling message of I need something if you have if to for me and if you don't just come by and I will smoke you up.
By the time I was done listening to 16 of those messages I get the idea why he was on the road and not selling hardware. I can also see how he totaled 3 cars in less then a year.
*SIGH*
But at least the replacement looks promising.

ammo:
wow that's kinda shitty. I'm glad you fired him, and I'm sure the replacement will be better by comparison no matter what.
