SOOOO......
So today was rough. Well relatively. I show up at work 30 minutes (at 8am instead of 8 30) early to help put the office back together. Trying to re-wire the computers and the phone, since it was all unplugged when they re-carpeted. That was a mess, and then helping everyone else do same.
Now keep in mind their computer system is 30 years old. They have a few what like to call "Real Computers", which can do things like word process, and email and even look at a website. The rest of the office is black and green terminals that allow us to enter orders.
Now I get to work and I am one of the first to get the basics set up so I am handling a majority of the work while the rest of off putzes around "getting their stuff set up".
It reaches 10 am and I am at the point where I have my computer, my phone and my catalog unpacked and fielding sales calls. Then it dawns on me I really want my FUCKING CUP OF COFFEE!!! And my cup is packed in a box. My coffee packets are in another, and I am not gonna get the time to get them unpacked before lunch.
But the plus note was supposed to be me moving to a corner desk (we all share a communal space in the office, it's like 20' x 20' room with 7 desks, and no dividers. Hell I could fucking kill for a cubicle. But my boss won't move the other guy for fear that he might quit, regardless of the fact that he is part time. But the loss wouldn't not be major except for a few things, 1) One of our office workers is out for another month because her husband had a seizure, but he is home and recovering, but it still seems like she is taking excessive time off, (over 2 months). 2) The new guy I helped train gave his two weeks, but my boss convinced him to say until person from #1 gets back. So now I am still at my tiny desk squeezed between two people.
Over worked and under paid, and they took away my bookcases in the re-carpeting, so I have a box of liek 8 catalogs and as many binders that I need for my job and i have no place to put them!
I know that none of this matters, but this is a helluva a way to start off a week.
But the rest of the week is packed.
Tuesday, I am running my D&D Game, which should be good, I hope. I have good stuff planned out, low will save group and they will be meeting a mindflayer
Wednesday: long day at work with another person out of the office.
Thursday: another long day with an extra person out of the office. And looking forward to smallville doesn't work with it being done for the season. Luckily TNA Wrestling doesn't have an off season.
Friday: Day off from work. Flying to Boston, getting there at midnight, then driving two hours to cape cod.
Saturday: Spending the morning with my mom for her birthday. Then off to a b-day/bachelor party.
Sunday: AM: Recovering, early afternoon: Wedding followed by reception, to be followed with a brief wait (READ AS ONLY UNSCHEDULED TIME) to catch a 3am flight out of Boston.
So yeah my time is packed.....
But enough of my bitch fest.....
Time to Go Watch Monday Night Raw, and then The Season Finale of "HEROES"
BTW if you haven't see HEROES, goto NBC.com and starting watching the episodes now, before I break out the bull whip!
Go!
Why are you still here?
Go Watch!

Have fun with such a packed schedule. Makes me so happy I'm getting a break currently from running around like that.
