feeling a little flustered.
my parents will probably be leaving for the midwest this evening or tomorrow morning. my father's court date is on the 28th, i think, and they're hoping that getting there early will give them time to recover their car before all the hooplah starts.
my short trip to the minnesota is quickly filling up, and i worry about exhausting my best friend's energy with all the shit i need to do that requires her help (by the way, sarah, i asked my papo and he said that he WOULD like me to go see him while i'm there)... i guess, at this point, it's just an issue of getting to fargo, but that does take pretty much an entire day out of the trip. i guess it will also give me the chance to have lunch/supper with julia as well, which i would love to do. i wish i could have planned a longer trip.
also - corey found out that his school schedule is too full on day one of lollapalooza to make it... he can still go to day two (which involves the string cheese incident and the flaming lips), but i MUST find someone to go to day one with me. i can't miss morrissey, modest mouse, le tigre, sonic youth, the dresden dolls, and mike watt all in one day. i simply can't.
i ended up taking only one class for summer term. a writing and exposition class. i should do some work on that today. but first, i'm off to target to purchase fireplace accessories and cd racks.

Sorry, child...they canceled The palooza this year. I'm pissed. I wanted to see The Moz and The Flaming Lips. Sonic Youth, too. It's a fucking travesty. Check the website for Perry's lame ass excuse.

i booked our hotel room for friday night. i'll just crash somewhere at my parents on thursday. and i think going to fargo from monte is a good idea--i will post a gathering at either psycho suzi's (fun tiki polynesian, but not exactly cheap) or the newsroom (five dollar martinis, two dollar harp, plus a super nice patio if it's money outside). what do you think?
