Anna K brought her accoustic guitar over the other day. She has wanted me to start playing again so I can teach her.
I started playing when I was 10 or so. The last several years I lived in Pittsburgh , all I did was work , smoke up, and play in several bands with friends of mine.
Around 1998 I quit playing and sold my equipment. I was tired inside of where I was and what I was doing. Everything seemed too close.The idea of treating it like my only artistic vent completely ruined it.
Electronic music took over for quite awhile for me. I learned how to enjoy sound again. Simple but full instead of overdone and complex. A well written track can move thousands and create some of the most positive feelings.
Spending the last several years listening, collecting , and Dj- ing has re-energized my batteries. I took the guitar out of the case a few days ago , and everything good is washing back, and leaving the bad behind. What a great feeling. The best part is , it will be just another great form of expression instead of the only one. This may sound sappy , but how lucky we are to be here in free America !

Anyways, I need to find something different than the gibsons and fenders I had. I need to find an original Charvel Surfcaster.This one is a perfect semi hollow body with beautiful style and coloring. Add a gibson humbucker and it will absolutely scream.
If anyone has one for sale or knows someone, let me know....
