yay! a day off! too bad i still have a bunch of stuff to do: a baby neice to cuddle, an old apartment to double check is clean, target to hit, cigarettes that need buying.

and of course, a roommate's birthday celebration! happy birthday RedViolet! may we get you good and drunk this evening!


my mommy left town yesterday. two weeks of seeing her everyday was wonderful. it, of course, had it's small downfalls, but... it was good. she found out a lot of stuff while she was here and has done so much stuff to help me that it's... incredible. and she was entirely too patient with me. my mother's amazing and i miss her to death already.

so, you know, in her absence, i'm going to have spend lots and lots of time with my sweet new neice. she is SO good, only fussing when she's hungry or wet. she's been a lot more awake lately and you can already tell she's growing. she's so beautiful.


work has been... work. there have been a few unhappy incidents, but... eh. whatever. today is my day off.


and i really need to take a shower and get on with things if i'm going to get everything done before six.
