today was not an especially good day. i am trying to stop myself from having some sort of breakdown over finances... but everything works out somehow, right? yeah...


random things about me that are more fun to talk about than money:
:: i love crossword puzzles. loooooove crossword puzzles. my mom and i used to sit around and do them together while watching tv all the time.
:: i can crochet... sort of. i've been working on a blanket for my niece since she was 3. she's almost 6.
:: i could eat sushi every day.
:: i love the counting crows to teeny tiny pieces but actually own none of their CDs (the one i had, i actually sold... why, i don't remember.)
:: i used to be an english tutor. i helped other students out with their papers. it was fun. i'm a nazi proofreader.
:: almost every person i've been seriously interested in or even mildly involved with since college has a mix CD made about them. one has a collection of 4. there is only one that i can never listen to again.
:: i have plans for at least 7 more tattoos including a sleeve on my left arm, which will have some form of a cat with a hammer striking down lightning. (get it: my cat's name is thor... thor's hammer? i am a huge dork.) most of the other ones are song lyrics or otherwise word-based.
:: three things i strongly believe in politically: a woman's right to choose, gun control, and gay rights.
:: my mother thought i'd grow up to be a republican... she probably also thought i'd graduate college. shows what she knows.
:: i would move to toronto and become heathavoid's wife in about five seconds if i wasn't trying to get away from the cold.
