so to explain to you what kind of day it's been, i think i only have to say one thing: i squirted soap in my eye first thing in the shower. isn't that great? and my contacts were in, which was even greater.

it actually hasn't been that kind of day. work was all right. things are coming under control with tweedle-dumbest. in 3 months, i'll have his job. (i was told today that i'm already doing his job -- as he's not doing it -- without the title or the pay. that makes me feel... even more underpaid.)

the one time that it was a soap in the eye day was when i got the call that my new eyelets were in at the piercing shop. i got there (detouring to pick up tony, who then bowed out because he doesn't think he's quite ready to stretch up yet) and they had only ONE eyelet in. so, um... i have two ears (and i paid for two plugs). so i was just going to have them put that one in for me for now while the other one got ordered. well, we went back and found out that i don't have 5/8ths in. i have 9/16ths. soap in the eye. so i got some 5/8ths tunnels and they went in beautifully and they look awesome. four more weeks and i'll have my 11/16ths.

tony mentioned hanging out later. i wasn't planning to see travis until thursday, but if they initiate... why not? i don't have to work tomorrow. (though i do have to be up early to for my annual leg spread.)

for now... tetris.
