Last night's Chef's Tasting at Citrus at Social was fuckin' amazing. Here's what Chef Michel Richard (owner and executive Chef of Citrus in Hollywood, and Citronellein Washington D.C. I also got to tour the kitchen there, Meet Chef Richard and also got my menu and book signed by him.
Salad Course: Salmon and Watermelon seviche with greens.

1st course: Cuttlefish Carbonara with mussels.

2nd Course: Sea Bass with vegetable "olives" and roasted potato jus

3rd Course: Colorado Lamb with "gigantes" beans and jalapeno sauce.

4th Course: Duck with orange chum soy sauce sweet carrots and beets. (this dish was my favorite, truly orgasmic)

Dessert Course: Apricot Napoleon & "Le Kit Kat"

oh, wow. that looks great. sometimes I wish I still ate meat. actually, if I'm wishing for things, I wish fine dining restaurants would make en effort to get their meat from sustainable meat growers and fisheries.
