For those who saw the adorable Patrick earlier. We were just about to drive 4 hours back to my home, where he will be staying, until we find him a forever home. He had a run around the yard, and also had a wee on pretty much all the shrubs and trees. We played with some toys. We had snacks and dinner. And now, he is making me laugh, being a total clown. It makes my heart so happy to see him being playful and so trusting already. And to think that he was due to be put to sleep and euthanised tomorrow. Black dogs, and especially male greyhounds are often super hard to rehome and are overlooked in shelters etc. They suffer a prejudice that they must be aggressive and nasty. I have never met a black greyhound that was not gentle, and sweet. So glad we got to give him a new start. He is going to be a star!! #adoptdontshop #greyhoundlove #blackdogsrule
