My Father (George) passed away early this morning, it was a peaceful passing in his sleep. He had been unresponsive for a couple days prior so we knew his passing would be soon, he was 83 years of age. My Father lived a great life and was both the kindest soul and the toughest man i've ever known. We will celebrate his life in the days to come, my family does not believe in mourning the passing of a loved one, we instead celebrate their life with songs, dancing and a good amount of stories from friends and family. My Brother, as the eldest child, will have the honor of transporting Father's ashes back to his Mother Town in Milngavie, East Dunbartonshire, Scotland.
I dont post this here for sympathy I post here because of all the places I've traveled on the internet this community has some of the best ladies and gentleman around. I've not been long a member but in my short time here I have talked to some truly amazing people. All I ask is that today, in honour of my Father, you perform one act of generosity or kindness, be the one that smiles and not the one who does not smile back.
