Hello again Internetz,
So I`m trying to think up valid concepts for this blog beyond the run of the mill stories of my daily life(I also realized that I`m writing this as if people are actually reading this.. I guess its good practice for the off chance that someday people might lol).
So far I have 2 ideas!
Confessions of a former pornstore clerk
I spent most of my early 20`s as manager of a adult video/toy store, it was one of the best jobs that I ever had in fact, also one of the strangest. We had weekly in-store drinking adventures, employees who seemed very prone to fucking everyone and anyone who worked /shopped there, hilarious customers and co-workers, some of the strangest products , a store that used to be a brothel in the early 80`s and the occasional dash of armed robberies tossed in to boot.
Once a week, I`d like to write out a random tale from my time served at the smut hut, I think it would make for an interesting read.
My other idea is a far less interesting and infinitely more frustrating and having a place to vent about it might not be a bad idea...
Observations of an Anglophone living in Quebec
Im an English guy living in a French city, somehow working for a music company that is entirely French speaking. I am trying to learn French but so far, mostly I survive with the use of Google translate and reading the body language of my employers while picking out key words. Quebec on a whole is very proud of its French culture (nothing wrong with that) and at times, it can be super challenging if you don`t speak French here. I could write a weekly update on my progress in learning the language and some of the odd, frustrating situations I find myself in based on that struggle.
Or I could just post random images that make me smile..
