Life is all about stepping up to the plate. The thing people forget though is what you do at the plate. Nobody knows what's gonna be thrown your way. The thing is you gotta swing. You may get a few curve balls, sliders, but without swinging you may never get that homerun, and if you strike out well you gotta realize there is always another inning.
