My grandfather didn't have any stories about the war. The Navy sent him off to finish college, then he joined near the end of the war. The guy who raised my dad didn't want to talk about the war ever. He was in a lot of combat.

You go to the bars for 12 days during the Christmas season? Do you go with the family and/or are you going because there is no school?
