in portland for once
sick.. i think i got the plague
luckily it's recent so it's probably a garden variety bug, rather than a swamp bred monstrosity
got a new camera a few days ago.. haven't done much with it yet due to feeling like someone ran me over with a steamroller

got off work, went to new orleans, went to shreveport for a while to sort through all my damaged stuff, went to louisville for a bit to decompress, now i'm in houston getting ready to head back into the gulf for work.. just in time for another storm, oh joy

thanks so much for thinking of me. it meant a lot the past few weeks, when i was on the road, checking my account and seeing so many people actually concerned and worried.

i felt like that earlier this summer when i was unemployed. i just never did anything. hmmm. looking back, it wasn't so bad. i think i'm a cyclical recluse. i can go for months without human contact, and then all the sudden i want friends again. kind of sucks.
