A few weeks ago I woke up, like any other day and decided to quit drinking and smoking weed.

I've grown up in a culture that taught me reaching a higher plane of consciousness is done through drug use and I pursued that lifestyle since my teens.

Now I realize that weed and alcohol actually prevent me from that higher plane and I can only realize it with a sober mind. The brain is amazing and can do so much on it's own.

Now I just need to find new things to do. All my friends drink and use so I really have no social outlet at the time. Oh well, I don't feel like being a burnout anyway.
