Some Tuesday thoughts:
My car is broken...the rubber band broke! Needs a timing belt ......joy!
Have been depressed lately thinking of all I've lost or lost the ability to do, been a real downer. Yesterday, I had one of my tenants come in and made grateful that I've had it so easy, this woman's house burned down, the fire started in the electric blanket she was wearing, she lost her home, her health with 3rd degree burns and walks with a walker, and she still had a smile and was friendly. She's only 30 something with a life changing illness and tragic events happening, but maintains a positive outlook......makes you think.....
I don't know where this current economic spiral is going to end, but I hope we as a people wake up to the lies and deceptions that we a re being fed on a daily basis....War of all varieties is killing our country, the war on drugs, the war on poverty, the war on terrorism are basically a war on our way of life. The resources spent to imprison people could pay totreat the disease not punish the user. Legalizing some drugs particularly marijuana would free resources to fight the real enemy heroin, crack, meth all of which are highly addictive ,giving gangs and organised crime a lot of power. We could sell marijuana in paks like cigs, with tax labels and collect revenue and also do a better job of monitoring whos getting the product in the first place.
We as a people need to stand up and take back our government, we are the government not subjects or serfs, we need to assert our power and take back the reins of this country before our current govt drives us off a cliff.
