Let's see....good news is happening right now. I've been asked to join a recording band after their original guitarist left. The only thing that worries me is that they want a lead guitar, and altough I've been playing for some time now, I've only become serious about the craft about 2 years ago...where if I had been serious from the start it'd have been no question. But, this is the challenge I've been looking for.
Work's been a pain in the ass. They keep waving "promotion" across my face, but not delivering. The reason for this might be because they'd either have to fire or demote the guy who has the job right now. As cold as it sounds, the job I do is very simple...there is no problem solving, no heavy lifting, it's a job that a high school kid would work after class, and the guy that's making more money than I am can barely get that right. I hope they don't fire him, because that would be ill-hearted..but I know that I'd be a better canidate.
I think that's all for now. I'm supposed to go to the Auto Show, but I just woke up an hour ago...and I'm feeling lazy today.
