Even if everything isn't all right, it's still ok. I can't expect things to be great. There's too much weight that needs to thrown overboard. A little at a time, this ship will be running right someday, not drifting to port.

Sometimes I say the right thing. Most times I don't even know it until hours later when I get a moment to think about it. Most ideas get self edited before spoken, and it's when you are tired or weak that things come out whole. Perhaps I need to be driven to the point of exhaustion at all times. Then I'll be wise, then I'll be appropriate. Then I won't have to suffer from what I didn't say.

Self validation is the only validation that matters.
