This is my first journal entry.....ever...anywhere. I guess I'll just ramble on untill I get the hang of it.

I love winter up here in Alaska. It's so fucking cool, no pun intended. The snow, cold air. The stars are the brightest I've ever seen, during the dark winter nights. I think the fact that I am away alot for work makes beeing here that much more enjoyable. I think maybe if I was stuck up here all the time I would like it less.

I work on a ship for the State of Alaska. The M.V. Tustumena. Anyway we took her down to Portland in November. I'm back in Anchorage but will go down to PDX in Feb. to finish working on her and then bring her back up to AK in April. I can't wait to spend some more time in Portland. I had an amazing time when last there.

It's like 130am on the 11th of Jan. I'm just waiting to go meet up with my lady friend here in town for the rest of the weekend. She's a crazy hardcore punk girl. Like no other. Tough, sexy and fun.

I'm not sure what the plan is for this weekend but she just bought her first snowmobile so I'm really hoping to go out riding with her. Finally somthing we can do together.
