If there's one thing in the world that I hate to do, it is expressing sympathy to someone who has lost a loved one. For some reason, I don't handle death very well. I never had anyone really close to me die, but I have had teammates and loved ones of friends pass on. What do you say to someone who will never be able to see their child, sister, brother, father, mother, grandparent or friend ever again? "It was their time" sounds a bit cold and callous. "God needed them in heaven" was one I have always hated. What does God need them in heaven for? Laundry? Gardening? Riot Control? I guess I'm just afraid that I won't sound genuine. I'll just have to say or write what I can and hope the other person knows that I'm truly concerned about them.

Humans are selfish, I know I am. Even though one person is experiencing the pain of losing someone close, thoughts of my own mortality swim through my mind. One can become so engrossed in it that they forget how to live and enjoy life. Thankfully I have friends, family and a cat who remind me to do so.

I feel so much better now.

Time to kill some Nazis on PS2.

That picture had me rolling. Sivet could easily get that Rasta like. Give him a joint and a crocheted beret, he would be on his way!

Death is very difficult and awkward to deal with. I think Human Nature tends to make us selfish. I hate Nazis.
