I went up to Mt. Rainier last wednesday and had some fun, but was also dissapointed. Being from Iowa, I have never been on a mountain before. I wasn't surprised, but fascinated that it started to snow as we got up to 5000 ft. I got some good pics, but cloud cover obscurred the peak. When I took the last pic in my roll of film, the clouds parted and there was Mt. Rainier. Goddamn mountain...

Yesterday was Mother's Day, and I swore that it was next Sunday. Did they change it and I didn't get a memo? I called Ma (Iowanese for 'mother') and wished her Happy Mother's Day, even though she tried to poison me when I was 14. Thanks Ma.

My cat is training to be a Kamikaze pilot. For no apparent reason, except maybe shits and giggles, he jumped full bore onto the counter and knocked down every dish/pan/container onto the floor. Little shit....
