I have a class on Saturday morning about 1.5 hours away from where I live at Western's QC campus. It's where my high school friend Brad lives, so I thought I would go visit him today since I haven't seen him in a few months. Brad and his wife, Erin, just had a baby...I should have stayed home. I've been sitting here for the past hour watching stupid baby films. Am I a terrible person that I don't care at all? I know they are all proud of procreating, but do they really think people other than their parents want to see them making their kid dance to music or playing with her toys?

I made another appointment to get some more tattoos today. I'm getting one of an old political cartoon of Charles Darwin with a monkey body. I'm a biologist, and evolution is my favorite topic. I love discussing it, and debating it with Christians and others who don't fully understand the concepts.

I'm also getting a compass rose with a heart at the center of it. A compass rose is what you would find on old maps that gives the cardinal directions. I've traveled around most of my life, and no place really feels like home to me. I'm sure I'll travel around even more once I'm done with school. The heart in the center is going to represent that you should follow your heart in whatever you do. I'm not sure exactly which design I should go with, or if I should add a few things to make it more interesting...or if simple is just better. Any offers of suggestions?
