frown One of our helicopters crashed today, one person confirmed dead, one missing and seven injured. No names have been released, I think that there is a good chance that I knew some of the people involved.

yeah not cool man, really shows the risks our troops face, even when undertaking the most mundane and supposedly lower risk tasks. I have huge respect for anyone in the ADF expecially chopper pilots, the skill those guys have are just incredible.

That is sad, sorry to hear about it. I hope it turns out that you didn't know the people involved...
In response to your comment, I haven't actually looked up any Australian killers. It would be interesting to see some Aussie brutality though.
