I've finally completed my paper on Michelle Cliff's "No Telephone to Heaven". Now i just have a 10 page paper for Ideology of Evil, another paper for Politics of Difference, and three more for US Studies II.

While rifling through my collection of empty CD cases, I stumbled across a mixed disc I made at the end of the summer of 2002. I guess I must have hidden it in there, because it's kind of the soundtrack to the relationship I was in at the time, which coincidentally happened end the night after I made it. Its a weird mix of surf, glam rock, metal, agro-punk, femme punk, and rockabilly. I remember it being really hard to listen to after the break up, but now I really like it. I love when I can reclaim certain songs from the connotations of a bad break up.
