Yesterday was my first day of classes for the semester. I had U.S. Studies. I walked in and saw that Bob, the listed teacher (imagine colonel sanders and Foghorn Leghorn as a hippie) was accompanied by Barry, who taught my Terror Tragedy and Justice class last semester. Theyre my two favorite professors. Ive had both of them three times now. Its to the point I can read and translate their typos for them. Heres an example.

Bob: *reading from the syllabus* our aim is not to promote negativism or her bashing...

Barry: Her bashing, Bob?

Bob: Thats what it says Hmmm, what was I trying to say there. Dont suppose its a Freudian Slip.

Me: Could it be hero-bashing, Bob?

Bob: Hey now, there we go! Hero bashing

Barry: Shouldnt that be hyphenated, Bob?

Yeah so that was an enjoyable class. I took Zena (sp?) , the Russian exchange student to staples in the afternoon. Its fun taking her places, I have to explain all sorts of things to her, half of which I dont fully understand. Like there was this piece of fabric at Staples and neither of us had any idea what it is. I picked up a wrapped one, and it called itself a Booky-Sooky. Shes looking at me all wide eyed, and I had to admit I still had no idea what it was (it was a fabric book cover for paperbacks).
After Staples we went to the record store. I bought my dad a birthday present, and copy of Tromeo and Juliet for myself. The cute, but not especially knowledgeable punky girl at Bullmoose started flirting with me, telling me it was the worst movie shed ever seen. I dont think she got the point. She tries at least. Oh well. That movie rules. Ive never been able to find it around here until now. Now if only Lemmy werent having that cocoa puff on the side of his face removed
