I went to see The Life Aquatic with Steve Zisou last night. Keep in mind it only premiered in Lewiston on Friday because the local theaters were trying to extract as much money from the Grudge as they possibly could or something.
I'll spare you a long review of the film. Suffice to say I really liked some scenes/aspects and the overall story/tone of the film, but it had some flaws too. It was an endearing mess, if that makes any sense.

I finally got around to purchasing a copy of The Way of the Vaselines this afternoon. Its not especially rare or anything, i just almost always forgot to look for it when I'd be in record stores, and when i did it would temporarily be out of stock. Anyone who has heard/read one of my Nirvana rants probably knows that I absolutely love the Vaselines and one of the few nice things I will say about Kurt Cobain is that he turned me on to them. They're so cheeky and sick.

Its fucking cold today. My truck doesn't especially like this kind of weather.
