I'm The Peter Venkman of This Operation, Bitches.
I've graduated from college, but in order to get my degree, I still have to complete an internship. With that in mind, I went into the school yesterday to speak to the woman in charge of the internship program. As usually seems to be the case with her, she wasn't there. However, as I was stepping out of the faculty offices area, I bumped into Barry, one of my favorite proffessors. When he heard that I was looking to get an internship set up, he told me to come see him this afternoon, because he had a number of possible internships that might be right up my alley.

To make a long story short, pending permission from the higher ups, I may end up working on a bioregionalist survey of central and coastal Maine's supernatural folklore with the Northern Accadian Georgraphic Survey. I'd be doing fieldwork collecting stories, artwork, photography and poetry, all the while mapping out the different areas this weirdness occurs in and acting as a go between for the bioregional programs at USM, Bates and CMCC.
