I went out for beer and burritos last night with my sister, our friend Erika, and her year and a half old son Neegin. Neegin's such a neat kid. He paints and will come over with his canvas, explaining things to you in toddler speak, and he dances whenever he hears music. I had a blast teaching him all sorts of things that a kid should know, like how to make various faces and walk like godzilla, giving him shoulder rides, things like that.

I have the house to myself until tuesday night. This lonesome situation would seem to necessitate the breaking out of boomboxes, barbecues, beer coolers and drunken chicanery, don't you think? We shall see what happens.

The plans for today include running in a bit, a jaunt up to Brunswick to give Luke the rundown on my graduation and what not, then swinging back by the store for beer and something to burn for dinner.
