I finally saw "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" last night. I came out of the theater questioning whether I had ever seen a better movie. I've never seen the silliness, misery and sweetness of a relationship captured so well. The film was almost a little too surreal at times, despite the intensely surreal imagery.

Following up on the movies theme of holding on to memories, I broke out "the cd case of agony" when I got home and listened to the albums I never listen to anymore because they carry too many associations. Good times, yo. I'd forgotten what an excellent album the Distiller's "Coral Fang" is.

On a completely unrelated note, did anyone ever see Leon Trotsky and Col. Sanders in the same room? Why don;t we consult the disembodied head of BIG BRUISER on this issue.

Blah. Well looks like I am spending the day working on my thesis and maybe running later. Yee-haw.

Teenagers with their Twister and their hula hoops and Dan Fogelburg!!!! *shakes fist*

I wrote a nice little story on my Deadbolt show experience. It was good fucking times.

When I hit grad school, I want to write my thesis on the psychology of punk rock and the male/female role in the scene. Particularly, I want to touch on how much modern anarchist/activists resemble hippies. I bet I'll lose scen points if I do...
