I went down to the Brunswick Bull Moose this evening to get my sister, Kate, a Trojan Records compilation for her birthday. I ended up getting her the mod reggae one because it had more variety than the Upsetters compilation.
Luke was on hand and seemed pretty happy to see me. We havent really hung out in almost a year now because of his management position at the store. Between customers, we shot the breeze for a while. Poor guys worked 16 consecutive 12 hour days, and is probably looking at another 4 or 5 before he gets a day off. We discussed plans for my pending graduation and our brothers relative plights, among other things. I guess his just bought a $610k house in Massachusetts and is about to become a father. Thats fucking crazy.
Along with the Trojan comp, I picked up the Kill Bill v.1 soundtrack for the ride home. I love when an album adds a weird feeling of self importance that album to the driving experience.
