I had a pretty good weekend, altogether. V-day was actually downright positive this year. I don't have a girlfriend, as is always the case at this time of year, but I don't have anyone to be bitter or maudlin about either, so I was facing the day with a clear head. I went down to Portland with Mike and Kate (my younger brother and older sister), and Mike's fiancee, Nikki, for a lunch of Burritos and Beer. I came home to find several messages from people I care about, which really made me happy.
