Something really nice happened today. It involved a shoebox full of really good tools for working on guitars and it involved me. A friend of mine has been cleanin' house getting ready to move to the west coast someday. He used to work at Martin Guitar which is a local treasure, and an international gold standard. Upon his last and ugly day at work, he shoved a bunch of really quality files for details work and a 30 year old 24 volt soldering iron. These items have worked on everyones guitar... and they're in my basement! Thats a solid friend.

So that is it... now you know what makes me happy. Small tools.


oh, and playing in a Weezer cover band in an hour also makes me happy
