I just remembered that I left a closed tube full of t-butanol boiling at 135 degrees over the long weekend. Problem being that t-butanol boils at ~80 degrees.
Hmmm...
vapor pressure > atmospheric pressure + sealed vessel = BOOM
Should be an interesting morning when I get into the lab tommorow. My friend's coming over to watch movies tonight. The plot thickens.

Another blind-date....Arrggghhh...Wasn't too bad, but I still took off at the first available opportunity. Got home, and went for beers with my friend. We flirted, and she mentioned she was jealous that I'd been out on a date. Hmm, now I'm not thinking about my date at all...
Time to make another friendship awkward? Stay tuned...
