Weekly update:
Made a compound in the lab, that prior to yesterday, had not been discovered. Regretably, it wasn't what I was trying to do...sorta cool nonetheless.
C. had a really bad day at work. She e-mailed me to tell me about some asshole who tried to tell her what "type" of girl she is, and that her "type" didn't appreciate girly things like flowers etc. He then proceeded to make her feel like "nothing".
So I popped by her office right before she got off work to give her flowers
Unfortunately by the time I delivered said flowers, I hadn't eaten in 10 hours, and felt like I was gonna fall over (couldn't have been nerves could it?).
In any event she seemed pretty delighted. I don't think it will really lead to anything, but it was the right thing to do, and I feel pretty decent about it right now.
Anyhow, I should get some food in me, I'm supposed to meet her at the ol' Rat & Parrot in an hour.
