At least I finished my paper, so now the metaphorical headache has given way to the actual one. Everything aches. Sounds like a good day to get back to working in the lab, no? Calixarene triflates here I come!
Actually I got back into the lab yesterday (briefly)...the reaction I started was considerably more "exothermic" than I had anticipated (read: KABOOM!). Will the fun never cease? Perhaps after I've delivered my 50 minute long lecture to a 4th year chem class on Thursday...
