Well, I didn't make it to the movies this weekend- I kept getting up too late to make the matinee showings and I refuse to pay almost 20 bucks for a ticket and snacks.
I don't know whats wrong with me- I never eat popcorn outside of a movie theater-- but as soon as I get into my seat I start smelling popcorn and then I want some
I'll make it out to the movie either monday or tuesday. I don't mind going alone- but only early in the day.
I spoke to an old high school friend of mine- she finished college (we started together- she finished) and is now a PA.
I always felt ashamed about not finishing school like all the others I graduated H.S. with (and I was a year younger than all of them) so I avoided catching up on old times with them
Anyhow- she drives one of my favorite fucking cars ever...a Mercedes Benz SL500-->
......That one isn't hers-- I just added a pic for visual impact. Way to throw salt on my wound
She isn't even 30 and driving a 90,000 dollar car- I can only hope to own a car like that in uhhhh maybe 7 or 8 years
So we shot the shit for a while and I learned that she leased her car, and the payment is 900 DOLLARS a month. 
damn I thought lease prices were supposed to be somewhat cheaper than owning.
Hopefully when I get older I won't be so hung up on what kind of car I drive.

I avoid catching up with old friends for similar reasons. Personally, I feel guilt for not finishing school.
I haven't mastered the art of going to the movies alone....or eating out alone. I wish I could do that!
I drive my 85" Monte Carlo and feel just fine about it. My car fuckin' rocks.
