So, no word from Brazil. A is still dealing with the "inevitable." Breaks my heart.

I love the sunshine. I'm wearing a true springtime dress today and feeling all kinds of Audry Hepburn today with my cute dress and matching bracelet...okay, this is a dress that A.H. would have worn if she had hips and boobs. I honestly don't think she would have ever worn the eye makeup I'm wearing, but that is why it is great to be a 21-century lady...

Watched Closer last night with my roommate. I was really excited about seeing it (N.P. in sparkly pink thong and way yummy pink make-up and I HAVE that wig!!!) but...ummmm...other than totally developing a crush on Clive Owen's character (what can I say, I like witty, smart guys who like to bang hookers) I honestly felt like I was watching a director's cut of Something. Perhaps I was just distracted by too many Things to Get It, but I felt like it was a complete (other than seeing N.P. in said sparkly thong) let down. LET DOWN.

Have moved from bluebrass to blues. Old school blues. Little Lemon R. and Guitar Slim and the likes...

My mission while I'm in Scotland is to find a punk boy playing the bagpipes -- and take his picture. Alison tells me that this may not be as prevelent an occurance as the many guidebooks I've been reading seem to indicate from the proliferation of pictures of spiky-blue-haired punk guys piping, but I'm going to try my darnedest.

I'm *this* close to putting law school off a year and taking photography courses for a year. I could move to NC and get instate residency. This all depends on whether I get into either/both of the Last Two Law Schools. I've wanted to take photography classes since I was about 5, but I (my parents?) thought it was too indulgent and that I should be more academci minded...which I AM...but now that I'm fully facing the chance to go to law school (and take on a house worth of loans to do it) I realize that this may be one of the last (convenient) times in my life to actually just go take photography classes for a year. Once I go to law school there will be loans to pay back...a career to doggedly pursue... But geez, if I put law school off another year...that means I graduate at 28. That seems "late in life" to be getting out of law school.

I should do myself a favor and quite thinking about it until I hear from the Last Two Law Schools. But I have to send at least one school about $400 by Friday in order to hold my seat. I should make up my mind before then if I have heard back from the Last Two Law Schools.

I'm going to go play with my new camera this afternoon.

I just ate my sandwich. I was starving. That's what happens when you don't ever eat breakfast. Need my Weekday TAB.
