I'm obsessed with things that are shiny or sparkly. Or glittery.
My new shoes:
Perhaps you can tell that I'm entering the "things are slowing down and packing up" at my job phase. I have plenty to do, but it is all work on existing projects...nothing new...just tying up loose ends...coasting...prepping...when I come back for the month of June it will just be to help box stuff up and handle press inquires and things of that nature.
It also means that I don't get to go to Chile this summer. I found out today -- Union Rules. I have to be back for all of June. So there isn't a chance to get to Chile. I haven't broken the news to my friend yet. It will be so hard for him. We'd both been counting on this for a long time. He's very sweet and kind and has a huge heart and this will disappoint him.
My roommate has agreed to move out if I decide to stay in the City for law school (which is about 90% certain anyway.) I feel relieved and exhausted. It has been a long, yummy, emotional process to get to this point. It makes me sad.
The sunshine makes me happy though. Plus, tonight I'm going to start Improvements on that dress I got...

I'm getting very excited about seeing The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. luna and I saw the trailer before we saw Sin City and it was impressively funny, witty and amazing looking. I was very skeptical that they'd get that one right...but it looks like they captured the spirit of the humor perfectly.
Also on April 29, for those of you who are into the kinky stuff... There's the TES party at Paddles here in the City. It will be College Night, which means that if you have ID you get in for $5. Plus, I'm told that they have really amazing milkshakes... Milkshake play...yummy...
Damnit. I need to hear from those last two law schools.
I'm inordinately hungry today. I'm ready for food now.
Does anyone have really fabulous plans for Sunday evening? I'm curious... Talk me into something...
Tonight I will look for law school scholarships. I actually found one when I was an undergraduate for left-handed, Scottish girls. I swear. It was only $500, but $500 *is* $500...
