I woke up this morning and knew that 1) I was famished, which I suspect is a direct result of going out last night, staying up too late...um...getting my birthday spanking and 2) knowing that I *had* to learn to crochet...TODAY. So I scurried out of the office a little after 6pm and made it to my favorite yarn store (I knit, too) and I have managed to start crocheting. I'm still in that "this is more a challenge and frustrating" stage than the "this is soothing and productive" phase, but I'll get there. Now Doll and I can sit and drink tea and be all domestic together. :::giggle::: The other wonderful thing that I did today -- had an hour long conversation with my mentor, who lives back in NC. I miss her. I want to see everyone that I miss!
For tomorrow: come up with the theme for my new Friday DJ gig.
Do you ever find yourself listening to entirely "different" music from what you usually listen to?
The last two songs on my iTunes: "I Feel Safe in New York City" but AC/DC and "I Think I Need A New Heart" by The Magnetic Fields. Go figure.
