I've been feeling better about things. Losing my job sucks, but in a way it was a blessing in disguise. I.e...I have time to reflect on what I WANT to be doing with my life, as opposed to simply collecting paychecks. I got my severance and unemployment, so I could float for 9 months without a job if I needed to. I'm hoping to have a new gig lined up this month but the holidays are screwing me over pretty badly...no one is hiring director-level people it seems.
