Been a pretty good week I guess. I finally got out and bought my cat a new Ultra Mega Turbo Litter 3000 or some such and some cat furniture for her to play in/on. My roommate and I still haven't successfully gotten them to meet. My cat still just growls and hisses at the new guy. Ah well.
Been thinking a lot about the future. A few months ago, my largest challenge was to find a job....done! So now what. Gotta pay off some debts I accrued during my year off, which shouldn't take long...then of course I'd like to save up for a house. Before I decide between a house and a condo or whatever, I need to sort out my social life. Who knows..maybe I'll meet the love of my life tomorrow, but at this point, it doesn't seem realistic. Kids? Well, sure I'd like to have 1 or 2 someday, but I'm not getting any younger. I loathe the thought of being one of those "old dads". I figure I have a lot to offer. I hope it happens one day.
Somewhat at work told me I was "the funniest person they've ever met". I dunno, I don't feel funny. I'll try to take it as a compliment.
